HomeDecode is a tool that helps home buyers estimate repair costs and understand property condition during home tours. The app provides:
HomeDecode is NOT a substitute for a professional home inspection.
HomeDecode helps you identify visible concerns and estimate potential repair costs, but it does not replace a licensed home inspector or qualified contractor. The observations and estimates provided are based on the information you provide and photos you upload — they may not identify hidden defects, structural issues, code violations, or conditions not visible in photos.
We strongly recommend hiring a licensed home inspector and qualified professionals before making a purchasing decision or beginning repairs.
All repair cost estimates provided by HomeDecode are ranges based on typical repair costs, condition levels, and location data. They are intended as a starting point to help you understand potential costs — they are not contractor quotes or guaranteed prices.
Actual repair costs may vary significantly based on materials, labor, access, scope, contractor pricing, and conditions discovered during the repair process.

The Pro Report is a one-time purchase per property. Payment is processed through Stripe. Once a Pro Report is purchased and generated, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you experience an issue with your purchase, contact us at homedecodeapp@gmail.com.
HomeDecode uses AI to assist with photo analysis and condition observations. AI-generated content is based on visible information in photos and user inputs, and may not be accurate or complete. AI observations are advisory in nature and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for purchasing or repair decisions.
HomeDecode, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the photos and notes you upload, but you grant us a license to use them to provide, maintain, and improve the HomeDecode service and its repair estimates and property analysis features (including AI-assisted analysis).
HomeDecode is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
You may stop using HomeDecode at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at homedecodeapp@gmail.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of HomeDecode after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
